Each AddThis account must have a unique email address, so if you would like to have more than one AddThis account, you will need to register using a different email address.
What if I have more than one website?
If you have more than one website we recommend that you add a new Profile, rather than creating a new account. This way, you can manage all of your websites from one login, while still keeping the analytics and tool settings separate and also being able to control which users can access each profile.
To add a new profile, click the drop down icon in the upper left-hand corner of your AddThis dashboard. Then select Add Profile. Be sure to give your profiles unique names so you can easily tell them apart.
This new profile will have a unique snippet of JavaScript, found on the Get the Code page, different from the AddThis code found in your original profile. This allows us to know which tools to display on the site and which website’s metrics to report in the analytics dashboard. Just install this unique code on your site and activate the tools that you would like to use in that profile.
You can learn more about the AddThis profiles and profile settings here.
Can different AddThis accounts access the same AddThis profile?
Absolutely! You can use the Collaborators option in the profile settings to control which AddThis accounts can access each profile.
If you have a colleague who needs to access a profile that you have created, we suggest having them create their own account, then granting them access to the profile using the Collaborators feature.
